Hello Friends,

Happy March to all and thank you again for all your continued donations! Many of you have made multiple contributions and that is having a terrific impact! Our balance has now well-surpassed $50,000 - more than half-way to our first goal of $100,000.

Valentine's Day proved to be a huge show of generosity started by Jennifer Takatori ('72) who offered to match all donations up to $1,000. Oscar Edwards ('72) and Cully Williamson ('74) jumped in with matching funds which meant that every donation was quadrupled on that day. The wave of enthusiasm from North Huskies amounted to raising close to $5,000 in one day!

Cully and Terri's restaurant, Mary's Pizza Shack Rohnert Park, has continued the love, offering to match up to $10,000 through March. Only about $5,000 is left! NOW is a great time to donate and have your contribution doubled! Please help us by spreading the word to those you know and encouraging them to do the same. Every amount is valued and worthwhile. You can be part of our goal to inspire students to continue learning after high school and to be our next leaders. Donate here.

We also want to give a shout out to Ash Eraser - a new company that jumped in to support the scholarship by donating one of their starter packs to every 1974 alum after that class raised the most in the class competition which ended January 31st. Thank you Class of '74 for raising $12,750.50!

The deadline for the scholarship application is approaching and we are excited to award our first scholarships! In fact, due to the tremendous response from all of you, we've decided to award two $1,500 scholarships. These scholarships will go to students starting out at community colleges. We will announce the winners in May.

We've added a new video with many voices of those who knew Dr. Jackson. You can find it at the bottom of the home page.

Even if you did not know him, he was the catalyst for many, many students going on to realize their dreams and to contribute positively to our world. Dr. Jackson's influence shows up at North today with its outstanding curriculum, arts, band and sports programs aimed to meet all its students' individual needs and provide a path for success.

Thank you again for joining our mission to support John W North High students. Please share the video and
pass on the scholarship information to anyone you know who may want to join our effort.
